Hi, all. I want to ask readers a few questions. As you probably know, there are dozens of Boxed (Ebook) Sets on the market. Some (like Killer Femmes) include 5 authors, some as many as 12. Most are priced at 99¢ and sell quite well.
The reason we authors create these sets is to, hopefully, cross-pollinate our readership. If you bought the set because you like Chris Kling’s books, maybe after reading mine, you’ll buy me. If you like Sujata’s maybe you’ll buy Zoe’s or Julie’s. At least, that’s the theory.
So, I’m curious. Could you leave a comment that includes answers to the following four questions:
1. If you’ve read a Boxed Set, have you bought one or more ebooks by a second author in the set?
2. Why/why not?
3. If you did buy a second author’s book, how much time elapsed before you did?
4. How much did you pay for the “new-to-you” author’s book?
